Mark you calendars, save the date!

Sunday 3/17/13: The JCDG and the Interfaith committee at Oak Park Temple invites you to a Pre-Passover Seder on Sunday March 17, at 4:00pm at Oak Park Temple, 1235 N. Harlem Ave, Oak Park, IL 6032. Perfect if you haven't had a chance to host or attend a seder before and want to ask questions or get some ideas before Passover. Or, maybe you're a seasoned veteran and can add some insight to our gathering? Join us! Children are welcome. Bring your family & friends. The dinner will be potluck. Show off your haroset, or just bring a box of macaroons to share, it's all good! Not sure what to bring? Just ask Carrie...

RSVP to Carrie Landsman at 708-383-1071 or email CLB1019@gmail.com by Mon. March 11th, and please let us know how many children & adults are attending from your household and what dish your might bring, so we can be sure to have a variety of dishes to share.

We're looking forward to a wonderful seder with you!

The Family School (www.the-family-school.org) has begun enrolling students for the 2011-2012 school year. This is a parent-taught Sunday school program that meets approximately twice monthly on the campus of Old St. Patrick’s Church in downtown Chicago. While children are in class, parents not teaching that day participate in an adult education program. For more information, or to enroll your children, contact:

Family School Information
The Family School is a community of Jewish and Catholic couples providing a religious school to convey to our children the stories, traditions, rituals and values of both Judaism and Catholic Christianity. Together, we explore with our children the common moral code and shared heritage of our two faiths. The Family School was featured in a recent Chicago Tribune article that can be found here: Chicago Tribune

Kindergartners must be five years old before December 31 of the current school year to be admitted. We teach classes beginning at the Kindergarten level through 8th grade. There are openings for children in all grade levels. Please contact Angela Fishman, email apollo6464@wowway.com to learn more about the Family School.
